A Nigerian man, Dayo Aderinto, has sparked debate online after declaring that men who choose their wives solely based on physical features—especially the size of their buttocks—are foolish.

Taking to Facebook on Tuesday, Dayo criticized the mindset of men who prioritize appearance over substance when selecting a life partner, describing it as a shallow and misguided approach.
According to him, a woman’s backside should never outweigh her character in matters of marriage.
“Too many men lack sense,” he wrote. “If you’re still choosing a wife because of her big yansh, you’re an idiot. It can be a bonus, but if it doesn’t come with good character, let it go.”
His post has since drawn mixed reactions, with many users applauding his blunt honesty while others debated whether attraction should play a major role in choosing a spouse.
