A young Nigerian woman identified as Agunwa has touched hearts across social media after visiting a hospital and clearing the medical bills of several patients who were unable to pay for their treatment.

According to eyewitnesses, Agunwa had gone to the hospital with the sole intention of assisting patients burdened by outstanding medical debts. During her visit, she learned about the heartbreaking case of a woman who had delivered via caesarean section (CS) but was unable to leave because she owed ₦930,000.
The baby, who required oxygen support for weeks, had been cared for by nurses while the mother could only see photos of her child. Agunwa’s intervention not only paid off the debt but also reunited the family, turning despair into joy and inspiring many online to show kindness in their own way.
