I won’t bring clothes, wigs and bags I bought to Your House” – Lady Tells Future Husdand

Nigerian Lady Tells Future Husband: “I’m Not Bringing Old Clothes to Your House”

A young Nigerian lady has sparked massive conversation online after sending a bold message to her future husband.

In a video that’s now trending across social media, the lady declared that she won’t be taking any of her old clothes, wigs, or handbags to her matrimonial home once she gets married.

“As a man who’s ready to settle down,” she said, “you should be able to give me ₦4 million to create a brand-new wardrobe. Everything I used in my parents’ house stays there.”

The outspoken lady explained that if she takes her old belongings to her husband’s house, people might assume her husband isn’t providing for her. Instead, she wants a fresh start — new clothes, new shoes, and new wigs — all funded by her man.

She even showcased her current collection of bags, shoes, and wigs in the video, saying she plans to leave them for her mother.

Her statement has stirred mixed reactions online. While some users laughed it off as Gen Z luxury standards, others criticized her for being materialistic and unrealistic about marriage.
