Emmanuel Emenike Refutes Allegations of Marriages to Miss Nigeria Winners
Former Nigerian international footballer Emmanuel Emenike has once again addressed rumors surrounding his personal life, particularly claims linking him to multiple Miss Nigeria winners.
Reports that began circulating in 2018 alleged that Emenike married Miss Nigeria 2017, divorced her, and later tied the knot with Miss Nigeria 2018. While the story spread widely across social media, with some users mocking the claims as an “upgrade to the latest version,” others criticized him harshly.
However, Emenike has consistently denied the allegations, describing them as false and baseless rumors.
At the time, it was also reported that he had married Ezinne Akudo (Miss Nigeria 2013) before leaving her for another beauty queen. Akudo herself dismissed the claims, stating:
“This is false information. I have never been married to Emmanuel Emenike. People should stop spreading lies.”
In reality, Emenike is married to Iheoma Nnadi, the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2014. The couple wed in 2018 and have since welcomed two children together. They remain happily married, with no record of divorce or any involvement with Miss Nigeria 2017 or 2018.
Since retiring from professional football, Emenike has chosen to live a more private life, keeping family matters away from the spotlight.
During his active years, he had a successful career in Europe, representing top-flight clubs such as Fenerbahçe, Spartak Moscow, and West Ham United, while also making notable contributions to the Nigerian national team.
