Man Reportedly Sues Lady for Taking His ¢500 Fuel Money and Failing to Show Up for a Date
Social media has been buzzing after a young woman went on a rant, claiming that a man who was wooing her has decided to sue her for failing to show up for a date after he sent her money for fuel.
According to her narration, the man, identified as Kelvin, had been in her DM for months, persistently trying to win her heart. However, she made it clear to him that she was already in a relationship.
Despite being friend-zoned, Kelvin continued communicating with her and recently invited her out for a meal to “talk about something important.” The lady claimed she informed him she couldn’t make it that day, so they rescheduled the meeting.
When the new date came around, Kelvin reportedly sent her ¢500 (about $40) for fuel to ensure she could make it to Cantoments, where they were supposed to meet. Unfortunately, the lady said something urgent came up at the last minute, and she couldn’t show up
Kelvin, who was displeased by her no-show, allegedly stopped responding to her messages. Later, she received a shocking call from a lawyer, informing her that she was about to be served with legal papers for “scamming” Kelvin out of his ¢500.
The lady expressed frustration, insisting that she never intended to deceive him and had already told him she was not interested romantically. She questioned why Kelvin would go as far as suing her over what she described as “just fuel money.”
She ended her rant by insulting Kelvin, stating that she doesn’t even want to appear in court for such a petty issue
