A Kenyan lab doctor, famous for urging men to run DNA tests on their children, just took a hit he never saw coming.
Peter Ngumba, the same man who encouraged countless men to verify paternity, broke down after discovering he is not the father of his two year old daughter.
In the viral clip, Peter struggled to speak as he explained how the truth shattered him. He said he loved the little girl with everything in him, and finding out she wasn’t his felt like losing a part of himself.
Peter said he carried out the DNA test on the girl’s birthday. He had just surprised her with flowers, a cake, and 2,000 shillings. Moments later, he told the mother he wanted the test because he had always had doubts since the pregnancy was announced.

At first, he thought the result was good news. He even celebrated for a second. But when he read the report again, the truth stabbed him right in the heart. The child was not his.
Peter recorded the video while lying in bed, tears rolling down his face. At one point he could barely speak. He said he loved the girl deeply and had even prayed for another daughter just like her.
