Shatta Wale Praises EOCO Boss, Calls Him “Godsent” After Lamborghini Saga

Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale has spoken out for the first time since his arrest over the stolen Lamborghini incident, describing the boss of the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) as a “Godsent” individual.

The award-winning musician, known privately as Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., was detained for several days to assist EOCO in investigations after reports emerged that the flashy yellow Lamborghini he had purchased was allegedly stolen.

The scene outside the EOCO office was dramatic and emotional as hundreds of fans gathered, chanting and demanding his immediate release. Videos of the moment flooded social media, showing the massive support the “Ayoo” hitmaker continues to enjoy despite controversies.

Appearing later on JoyPrime’s “Prime Time Show,” Shatta Wale reflected on the incident, admitting that the experience had taught him a valuable life lesson.

“I’ve learned something from this. From now, I’ll make sure every property I acquire is done the right way — legally. No more street deals,” he said.

The artist encouraged others to learn from his ordeal, emphasizing that mistakes are part of growth and that he is now focused on doing things differently.

Before his arrest, Wale often flaunted the luxurious yellow Lamborghini on social media — a spectacle that caught fans’ attention and admiration. Now, however, he says his focus is on responsibility and positive influence.
