A Nigerian lady studying in Germany has captured massive attention online after recounting her surprising encounter with a kind-hearted professor who paused her own lecture to personally help her find her class — something she said could never happen back home in Nigeria.
In a viral TikTok video shared by user bigsosap, the student narrated that she got lost while trying to locate one of her new classrooms and decided to ask for directions.
She explained that several students she met were unsure where the class was until one suggested she speak to a nearby professor.
“I was shocked,” she said. “In Nigeria, you can’t just walk up to a professor like that — you’ll think twice before even knocking on their door.”
To her amazement, the female professor didn’t just describe the route; she actually left her class and walked alongside her around the building until they found the right room.
