A young Nigerian woman has sparked intense debate online after declaring that women who get approached by men too frequently should reflect on their own behavior.
In a now-viral podcast clip with Daddy Freeze, the woman, identified as Grace Ofure, shared her controversial opinion about how women’s conduct influences the kind of attention they attract.
“Ask Yourself What You’re Doing Wrong”
According to Grace, if a lady finds herself being approached or “toasted” by men every single day, it’s a sign to pause and evaluate her actions.
“Women, if you go out every day and men are always toasting you, sit down and ask yourself — what am I doing wrong?” she said.
Self-Respect Defines Boundaries
She went on to explain that a woman’s self-respect and the way she carries herself in public largely determine the kind of advances she receives. Grace emphasized that when a woman exudes confidence and sets clear boundaries through her behavior, men are less likely to cross those lines.
Her remarks have since divided opinions across social media, with some agreeing that self-presentation matters, while others accused her of unfairly blaming women for unwanted attention.
