A young woman has sparked massive reactions online after sharing a video of an apartment she was offered for ₦1.5 million in Lagos.
In the now-viral clip captioned “POV: You went to inspect an apartment of ₦1.5m,” the lady filmed her visit alongside two men believed to be real estate agents. The footage showed them walking through what appeared to be a rundown neighborhood with broken roofs, muddy paths, and poorly maintained surroundings.
When they finally arrived at the property, viewers were shocked to see a “face-me-I-slap-you”–type building — a far cry from what one would expect for such a hefty price tag.
The video has since triggered outrage on social media, with many Nigerians lamenting the skyrocketing cost of rent in Lagos despite the poor state of available apartments.

“Bro, one agent once took me to see a house like this. I just looked at him and said, ‘You get mind o.’ If he wasn’t a guy like me, I swear I’d have dealt with him. The place was empty, no one living there, and he still collected ₦20k as inspection fee. I was so mad!”
