A Nigerian lawyer has recounted an emotional, life-changing encounter he had with the late evangelist Dr. Uma Ukpai during his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year in Uyo back in 2008.
Identified on Facebook as Taonna Nnabuife, the lawyer revealed that the renowned preacher became God’s vessel in resolving a personal struggle he was facing at the time.
A Defining Moment of Faith
According to him, the meeting with Rev. Ukpai marked a major turning point in his spiritual journey, leaving an enduring imprint on his life.
Reflecting on the experience, he wrote:
“This truly marks the end of an era. I’ll never forget how, during my NYSC in Uyo in 2008, God used Dr. Uma Ukpai to heal me from a health challenge I was battling then.”
He described the incident as a divine intervention that deepened his faith and strengthened his belief in God’s miraculous power.
