Controversial social media commentator Daniel Regha has stirred massive reactions online after weighing in on Seyi Tinubu’s plan to donate one million copies of the Holy Bible to Nigerians.
Earlier reports revealed that Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, announced the Bible distribution initiative as part of his 40th birthday celebration.
Public Reactions
The gesture, however, received mixed responses, with many Nigerians questioning the practicality of such a move amid ongoing economic challenges in the country.
Adding his voice to the debate, Daniel Regha took to social media to mock the initiative, suggesting sarcastically that perhaps during Seyi’s next birthday, he might also consider distributing anointing oil and holy water.
Regha wrote:
“Seyi Tinubu’s birthday will be celebrated with the disbursement of one million Bibles to whoever will accept them. A million Bibles? Wonderful.”
His comment has since ignited widespread discussions, with Nigerians divided over whether the gesture was an act of generosity or misplaced priority.
