A Nigerian man has ignited online debate after sharing how he abruptly ended his relationship with his girlfriend on the very first day he met her family.
“That Was My Red Flag,” He Says
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), a user named Richmond recounted that he broke up with his girlfriend after an uncomfortable encounter during his initial visit to her home.
According to him, the relationship ended when her two elder brothers asked him for money moments after he arrived.
“I ended a relationship a few years ago because the first time I visited her family, her two elder brothers begged me for money,” Richmond wrote.
