Popular socialite Baddy of Lagos returns to Nigeria after successful orthopedic surgery in Egypt

Famous Nigerian socialite and influencer Baddy of Lagos has safely returned home after undergoing his first round of orthopedic surgery in Egypt.

Taking to his X (Twitter) page, Baddy shared the exciting update with fans, posting a photo of himself alongside his mother at the airport and expressing heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of support.

“Finally home after the first stage. Thank you very much for your support and prayers. God bless you,” he wrote.

Crowdfunding and surgery success

Earlier this year, a crowdfunding campaign led by fellow influencer Wizarab raised over ₦20 million to support Baddy’s surgery. The campaign gained massive traction online, with Afrobeats superstar Davido donating ₦3 million, helping the fundraiser surpass its goal.

Baddy’s corrective procedure, which lasted about seven hours, was performed at the Saudi German Hospital in Egypt to treat a deformity in his right leg.

Why doctors operated on one leg

Following the operation, Baddy explained that only his right leg was corrected for now, as doctors advised against performing surgery on both legs at once due to the potential for excessive pain and recovery strain. The second procedure will be scheduled once he has fully healed from the first.

Baddy’s courage and transparency throughout his recovery journey have earned him widespread admiration, with fans and well-wishers continuing to send prayers and words of encouragement online.
