According to a post shared by @babypeekor, the woman told her family she had been abducted and that her captors were demanding a ransom. Out of fear and panic, her relatives quickly raised the money to “save” her.
But instead of returning home, she reportedly used the funds to “japa” — Nigerian slang for relocating overseas.

After settling abroad, the lady later called her family to confess that the kidnapping was fake. She explained that when she had earlier asked them for financial help to travel, they claimed they had no money.
