In an interview with HipTV, Omawumi shared that she met Cobhams shortly after her time on Idols West Africa, and that encounter became a defining moment in her journey as an artist.
“Cobhams gave me one of my earliest opportunities after Idols West Africa,” she said. “He told me to just go with the flow, and that single session ended up changing everything for me.”
