Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 7 winner Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has publicly accused the Dangote Group of negligence and insensitivity following the tragic death of her sister, Ruth Otabor.

Taking to Instagram in a series of emotional posts, the reality TV star expressed anger and heartbreak, alleging that her sister’s death “was calculated and planned.” She further criticized the Dangote Group for allegedly failing to fulfill promises made to the family concerning funeral arrangements.
“On September 13th, the day of the burial, Dangote Group ignored all calls from my family. We were told that the bills had not been paid, even though they claimed otherwise. My family had to cover the mortuary expenses,” Phyna wrote.

According to her, the company only paid the medical bills incurred at Lagoon Hospital, while her family bore all other expenses from Auchi to Irrua, without receiving any reimbursement.
“During our most difficult time, Dangote Group announced publicly that they had paid all hospital bills. That’s false. The only bill they covered was from Lagoon Hospital,” she emphasized.

Phyna’s allegations have sparked widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians demanding transparency from the Dangote Group and justice for her late sister.
