Medikal Finally Reveals Why His Marriage With Fella Makafui Collapsed
Ghanaian rapper Medikal has finally opened up about the real reason behind his failed marriage with actress and entrepreneur Fella Makafui — a topic that has kept fans talking for over a year.
The couple tied the knot in a glamorous wedding ceremony back in 2020, but their union came crashing down in May 2024 after months of social media drama, cryptic posts, and rumours of infidelity.

In a series of emotional posts shared on his Snapchat story, Medikal revealed that the main issue began after Fella gave birth to their daughter, Island.
According to him, Fella expressed interest in undergoing a body enhancement procedure to regain her figure — a move she believed would help her promote her fitness and flat tummy tea brand more effectively.
However, Medikal said he was completely against the idea.
“I loved her natural body. That was what attracted me from the start,” he wrote. “Even after she gave birth, she was still beautiful to me.”
The rapper added that he suggested hiring other influencers with slim figures to market her product instead, but Fella reportedly rejected the idea, insisting on going through with her plan.
A Four-Month Battle That Broke The Marriage
Medikal explained that the disagreement dragged on for nearly four months while they still lived under the same roof. Despite efforts to resolve things privately, the situation only worsened, eventually leading to their separation.
“I don’t judge anyone who chooses surgery, but personally, I prefer natural women,” Medikal emphasized.
