A social media influencer has come to the defense of Nollywood star Regina Daniels, shutting down circulating rumors that link her to substance abuse.
In a recent post, the man shared his personal encounter with the actress at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja earlier this year.

Identified as Kelly Hassino, he recounted that Regina was composed, respectful, and soft-spoken during their meeting—qualities he said do not align with those of a drug user.
He acknowledged that she might occasionally take alcohol but firmly dismissed the drug allegations as completely unfounded and malicious.
According to him, having met real drug addicts before, he could easily recognize the signs—and Regina exhibited none of them.
His statement has since drawn attention online, with many praising him for standing up against false accusations targeted at the actress.
