Bella Okagbue Breaks Silence on Allegations Against Sheggz
Big Brother Naija star Bella Okagbue has finally spoken about the domestic abuse allegations made against her boyfriend, Sheggz Olusemo, by his former girlfriend, Bemi.
During the reality show, Bemi had taken to Twitter (now X) to share her alleged experience with Sheggz, claiming that he was abusive during their relationship. Her viral thread sparked widespread debate and cast doubts on Sheggz’s personality outside the Big Brother house.
However, Bella made it clear that the allegations would not affect her relationship with Sheggz. Speaking during a Twitter Space session she hosted for her fans, the fashion entrepreneur said she was aware of the claims but had no interest in reading the thread or engaging with it.

“I’ve heard about the accusations, but I haven’t read Bemi’s post and I don’t plan to. I don’t believe in things like that unless I experience them myself,” Bella stated.
As fans pressed for more details about her relationship, Bella cautioned them against meddling in her private life. She firmly requested that discussions during the Space remain focused on her and her personal projects.
“Please, let’s keep the conversation about me. I don’t want to talk about Sheggz or my relationship. That part of my life is private,” she added.
Bella and Sheggz, who started their romance during BBNaija Season 7, have remained one of the show’s most talked-about couples, often defending each other publicly amid controversies.
